The higher percentage of micro-pores in our coconut shell-based activated carbon makes it most effective for filtering small organic structures, recovering precious metals and reducing disinfection byproducts (DBPs) in potable water. The GAC applications include municipal and environmental water treatment, waste gas treatment, mercury removal in industrial gases, food and beverage industry, metal recovery, and for medicinal use. In addition to this, various GAC particles are ideal to use for vapor and liquid adsorption applications. As our PAC reduces operation costs and produces minimal waste sludge it allows for the conservation of resources and provides superior water quality. It is also used to adsorb volatile compounds and heavy metals like mercury in air purification systems. Since the activated carbons are ideal for the removal of unwanted colors, tastes and odors, our products are highly used in the food and beverage industries.
